Peters Market is a family owned and operated supermarket entering its 44th year in business in Napanoch, New York.

Located within the historic Town of Wawarsing,  along the Shawangunk Ridge National Scenic Byway, Peters Market is proud to support and be part of such a beautiful area amongst the Shawangunk mountains. The history here is vast and has changed dramatically over the years.

Since the birth of the “commercial center” era during the 18th and 19th centuries where creeks were used to power mills and factories, through the times of the early 20th century when railroads were used to bring tourists & “vacationers” to our beautiful area, Napanoch has been held in great esteem and a home to growing [local] farms & businesses.

Thankfully, since our inception in 1971, healthy living  has become our market’s signature — hence the creation of the Natural & Organic Department by Pat Peters — where we take advantage of being so close to dozens of these local farms and orchards. In addition, because we know how much healthy product details matter, unique products are featured all over the store in each department.
